We heavily rely on the kindness and generosity of our sponsors to provide much needed funding for horse-care, supplies, and most importantly for our scholarship fund. Each donation we receive towards our scholarship fund enables us to provide a lesson to a child that would not ordinarily have the opportunity to participate in therapeutic activities with horses. HorsePower has been organized to minimize our cost in order to offer the lowest possible cost to our students. We have found that our program has made a huge impact in the lives of our students, as well as their families, and it is our long term goal to "turn no student away for inability to pay".
We also rely on area businesses to help us show appreciation to our team of hard-working and dedicated volunteers. Without our volunteers HorsePower could not offer lessons for even one day. If your business would like to donate gift certificates for us to give to our team, we would greatly appreciate this gesture. For example, Paisano's Pizza and Grill regularly donates gift certificates to all of our volunteers and participants which are included in their birthday cards. Thank you, Paisano's!!
